Those boys shot put #'s are embarrassing. 6 ft off the record. I threw shot my SR year only and beat those #'s by a ft on a bad day.

If I'm not mistaken you have to finish top 3 in your district meet..or you have to had qualified with an individual performance in an earlier meet. So, the entire team doesn't necessarily compete at the regions. You would think if they had more on the team they would have at least placed in some events at the district meet tho.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

The Appy boys didn't place high enough to make it to region, only Forrest made it to Regions.

    Re: Region D track results

top 3 relay teams and the top 6 from all other events make to region. unless they meet the standard in there event then they have the choice to do there event in district.

region is the same to make it to state.

    Re: Region D track results

i just figured there would be a few more names at regions......dont really know what to say.

hmmm, i just looked at those numbers and they pretty much seem to be low. i would have placed in the 100 when i was in school and i thought i was slower than molasses
Cant we all just get along?

    Re: Region D track results

Those looked pretty good, the top 5 broke the previous record of 11.24. If Cobb can have another one at State, he should have a good shot at placing fairly high. Lee had one (Carson) who would have probably broken it with a sub-11 time but that was back in '00-02, when they were in the Highlands/Region IV at that time.
